Featured Activity: Five Alternatives for Thanksgiving Dinner

My favorite time of year is Thanksgiving. During this time of year, family from all over come together for fellowship, great laughs, and a good meal with way too many food options. For some, the idea of Thanksgiving can be overwhelming, especially if you are busy and the mere thought of cooking a big meal stresses you out! Luckily, there are a variety of options that will not require you to cook or dirty up your kitchen. Here are five restaurants in Charlotte offering to prep and/or cook for you this Thanksgiving!

Angeline’s located at 303 S. Church Street., is offering breakfast from 8AM-10AM and dinner from 12PM-7PM on Thanksgiving day. Reservations are required.

5Church located at 127 N. Tryon Street, is offering a Prix-fixe, three-course menu featuring dishes like roasted and confit turkey, citrus glazed ham, and sweet potato gnocchi. Cost is $60 per adult and $30 for children. Reservations are recommended.

Table and Twine, located at 2600 Youngblood Street, is offering pre-prepped meals that feed six or ten people and come with an oven-ready turkey and your choice of classic sides like savory brioche stuffing, traditional turkey gravy and sweet potato casserole. This option is pick-up or delivery only.

Reid’s Fine Foods, located at 4331 Barclay Downs Drive (check other locations for offerings), is Reid’s offering oven-ready Thanksgiving meals with main entrees like turkey, whole duck and spiral ham plus sides like macaroni and cheese, garlic green beans, and sweet potatoes soufleé. Orders must be placed by Nov. 20 at 5PM.

New South Kitchen and Bar, located at 8140 Providence Road Suite 300, is offering a three-course Thanksgiving feast in-person or at home. Offerings include deep-fried turkey, rib roast, pumpkin pie plus all the fixings. Orders for turkey must be placed by Nov. 18, and orders for sides must be placed by Nov. 21. Reservations are limited.
