We are quickly rolling into the Christmas season which for some is the most wonderful time of the year! What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by partaking in some Christmas Spirits. Christmas themed pop-up bars will be popping up all over Charlotte this holiday season. Here are a few pop-ups coming to Charlotte!
Ugly Holiday Sweater Speakeasy @ Supperland, 1212 The Plaza Road, December 3rd-January 7th. Get your holiday spirit on! This holiday season, don your ugliest (or favorite) holiday sweater and join them in the speakeasy. You will be lead on a winter wandering of four cocktails, created by Colleen Hughes & Rhea Buck, each paired with delicious dishes from their Executive Chef, Chris Rogienski. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best ugly holiday sweater for a chance to win a $100 Supperland gift card. Wednesday-Saturday 6PM-8:30PM. Tickets are $140 per person.
Miracle @ Backstage, 2433 South Boulevard, November 23rd-December 31st. Miracle Pop-Up will be transforming bars all over the world this holiday season, and Backstage Lounge is the only place in Charlotte, NC to experience it! Starting November 23rd, they will be open 7 nights a week offering themed cocktails and the ultimate holiday experience. Hours of operation will be 5PM-midnight Sunday-Thursday and 5PM-1AM Friday-Saturday.
Sippin’ Santa @ The Royal Tot, 933 Louisa Avenue. This pop-up takes over tiki bars all across the country to offer a festive atmosphere, themed menu, and a place to celebrate the season with a tropical drink in hand! In addition to cocktails you can expect holiday music bingo on Wednesdays, holiday burlesque on Thursdays and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturdays. They are not taking reservations this year so go and be jolly. They are open 5PM-11PM Wednesday and Thursday, 3PM-midnight Saturdays, 1PM-7PM Sundays. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Christmas Bar @ Billy Sunday, located inside Optimist Hall @ 1115 North Brevard Street. The Christmas bar will operate from December 1st-January 2nd. This year, it’s transforming the inside of the space into a “holiday extravaganza for the eyes & taste buds,” according to Billy Sunday’s beverage director Stephanie Andrews. You can expect holiday-themed cocktails, warm drinks, and a totally transformed space. Plus weekly events like a Kris Kringle pop-up market with local vendors, a visit from Santa for pictures with your pets, a holiday cocktail class, Billy Sunday’s annual holiday party, s’mores on the patio and movie night on Wednesdays. You can also drop off letters to Santa inside. The bar will be open 5PM-10PM on weekdays, 5PM-midnight on Friday, 4PM-midnight on Saturday, and 12PM-10PM on Sunday.
