The month of May, Charlotte saw several new businesses open. Here are 5 new restaurants that opened in the Queen City. I encourage you to get out and try something new!
Early Girl has been combining the best Local, Organic, Seasonal, or Fresh ingredients to create delicious food since 2001 in the Asheville area. They now have opened a location in Charlotte at 1515 South Tryon Street, suite 104. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. Early Girl makes all the food in the restaurant, but they go a step further to source the highest quality ingredients. Their recipes reflect the belief that by making Local, Organic, Seasonal, or fresh ingredients their first choice whenever possible that they are serving the absolute best food to guests.
Southern Pressed Juicery originally located in Greenville, SC has now opened a location in Charlotte at 4325 Park Road. They believe in giving the body a break without breaking your stride. Their goal is to give you a slow down without actually slowing you down. They offer cold-press juices, superfood smoothies, energy bowls and plant-based foods made with organic ingredients whenever possible. Cleansing (or juicing) gives the body a break from the processed and complex foods of modern life.
Bit by Seoul Food is now open and located at 721 Governors Morrison Street, suite 150. Bit, as in a little bit of the menu, draws inspiration from Seoul Food Meat Co. Expect a fast-casual restaurant that delivers bao buns, tacos and wings. It will build upon those popular menu items, introducing new flavor combinations and spinoffs. Bit is open everyday from 11AM-10PM.
Condado Tacos located in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee, now has a location in Charlotte at 1536 Camden Road, suite 107. Known for their Tacos, Tequila and Margaritas, they create a space where all are welcome, bringing individuality to each table. From the food and drinks to the environment and the experience, there’s always something a little unexpected to look forward to. Like fresh takes on classic flavors. And the chance to create your own unique combinations of exactly what you crave. So come as you are and get connected to the community atmosphere that they strive to create.
IndiGrille is now opened at the corner of Woodlawn Ave and Park Rd at 1600 East Woodlawn Road, suite 150. They offer classic curry house favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala and Palak Paneer, and also a few new school dishes like Butter Chicken burritos and Keema flatbreads. They are open from 11AM-8PM Wednesday-Sunday for now as they ramp up. Go check them out for a bowl of classic Indian curry or a Kati roll, an Indian street food classic.
