The White Water Center’s Fourth of July Celebration: Celebrate the holiday outdoors at The Whitewater Center. Festivities on Monday and Tuesday include live music, races and multiple yoga classes. There will no longer be a fireworks display due to denied permit from the city. The cost is free to enter.
Outdoor All-Levels Yoga : You’ll just need to bring a mat and an open mind for this free, all-levels flow, hosted by Big Love Yoga Barn at Pearl Street Park (1200 Baxter Street). 5PM-6PM. The cost is free.
Billy Sunday Trivia: The cocktail bar, located in Optimist Hall, hosts free trivia every Monday at 7PM. It’s also a chance to try their new camp-themed cocktails, which are available through July 29. The cost is free to enter.

Charlotte Nights Game and Fireworks Show @ Truist Field: The Charlotte Knights will take on the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at 6:35PM. WBT will host a fireworks show, SkyShow, following the game. Ticket prices begin at $24+.
July 4th Hot Dog Eating Contest @ Petty Thieves Brewing: Petty Thieves is kicking off fourth of July with a hot dog eating contest featuring Chili Man gourmet dogs. The competition will start at 2PM, and it’s $10 to enter. Still want a hotdog without the contest? Stop by to grab one from 11AM-3PM.
Independence Day @ The Charlotte Museum of History: At this Independence Day celebration, the Charlotte Museum of History will host a naturalization ceremony, during which dozens of people will become new U.S. citizens. Event begins at 11AM and it’s free to attend.
“Six” The Musical @ The Belk Theater: “Six” the Musical tells the story of Henry VIII’s six wives (but in the form of a pop concert). The musical will run through July 16. Check the theater’s website for additional showtimes and pricing. Ticket prices start at $36.50+.
Don Toliver: The Love Sick Tour 2023 @ Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre: See rapper Don Toliver live in concert with opener Pi’erre Bourne. The show begins at 8PM and ticket prices vary starting at $39.50+.
