It’s the last weekend of the month! We are getting closer and closer to officially being Spring. It sure felt like May with the weather we had this past week. The warm, sunny weather will leave us on Saturday; however, Sunday appears to be a better day for getting outside! This is the last official weekend of Black History Month; however, that does not mean you have to stop learning about black history or participating and supporting black events and businesses as they happen all year! Charlotte FC kicks off this weekend with a home match against New England Revolution. Charlotte Hornets take on Miami as well on Saturday. Lots going on in the sports world! There are a variety of other activities going on this weekend. Activities this weekend include: Mardi Gras celebrations, movie night, live musical events, theatrical performances, art festivals, 5k run, exercise events, drag brunches and more!
Please pick the event(s) that are just right for you and your family! Enjoy, have fun, be safe and enjoy the weekend!
